WHAT IS SCOUTS?
Scouting is a
worldwide movement only aren’t in 3 countries, this movement is shaped the
development of youth and adults for more tan 100 years.
Scouts are in every
part of our city, country and world, scouts are in 161 countries and
Scouts is one of the biggest and most
successful youth organisation in Colombia. More than 30.000.000 of boys, girls
and adults in worldwide.
Scouts were
created by Lord Robert Stephenson Smyth
Baden-Powell of Gilwell in the year 1907 in England.
WHAT IS THE AIM OF SCOUTS?
v The
aim of scouting is to enliven the physical, soial, intellectual and spiritual
development of Young people so they responsable citizens as member of their
city.
v Perform
activities in groups, thus do teamwork and the scouts learn to work in team.
v Teach
the respect for nature and how to keep it.
v Teach tolerance, equality, companionship and physical activity as the ability to overcome adversity and discomfort.
MY EXPERIENCES LIKE A SCOUT.
I´m scout 2 years ago in the group IV Impeesa, we join the Saturdays normally in “La Normal
Superior De Manizales” at 2:00 p.m, I´m in the patrol “Ciervos” in this patrol
are 7 and I´m the subguide, in our group are 5 patrols and our patrol is bigger
tan the others patrols.
I was consecrated 6 months ago this is when give you the scarf and each grup
have an specific scarf.
VI Impeesa
VI Impeesa is formed by:
“Rovers”: are the adults between ages of 19 and 24
“Comunidad”: are the Young between ages of 16 and 19
“Tropa”: are the Young between ages of 11 and 16
“Manada”: are the children between ages of 4 and 11
The color of the scarf of this group is oche and
maroon the mean is:
Oche: spiritual purity
Maroon: sacrifice
VI Impeesa turns 70 in june and for this realice a camp in “El Valle Del Cocora”
